Arise & Shine is a small, Christ-centered K–8 hybrid homeschool in Buckingham for families around Fort Myers who want support without giving up the homeschool life. Here are three of the biggest reasons parents tell us they choose ASCA.
On-campus learning happens Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00 to 2:15 in multi-age classes of about 10–15 students. The rest of the week, lessons are written out for you so learning continues at home. Parents stay the primary educators, and the school comes alongside you instead of replacing you.
Students learn through Gather 'Round unit studies, with a new unit every five weeks that ties subjects together. Lessons are discussion based, project based, and filled with hands-on activities, electives, and regular field trips. Bible and a Christ-centered worldview are woven into the school day.
Arise & Shine is an approved Step Up for Students and PEP provider. A typical PEP award is around $8,000 per student, while ASCA tuition is $4,560. For most qualified families, that means tuition can be fully covered, with scholarship funds left over for curriculum and supplies.

If your child is near that range or you're not sure where they fit, come visit anyway. We'll talk with you honestly about whether we're the right place for your family.
No. Some of our families are already homeschooling on their own. Others are coming out of public or private school because it's not working and they don't want to go it alone at home. On your visit we'll walk through your situation and how a two-day hybrid rhythm could work for your child and your week.
